Privacy Policy – PaperFun

1) What PaperFun is

PaperFun is a Chrome extension that adds a paper-trading panel on supported token trading pages and a web dashboard that syncs and displays simulated (“paper”) trades, balances, and performance.

2) Data we collect

Depending on how you use PaperFun, we may collect and process the following categories of data:

• Personally identifiable information: Your wallet address (used as an account identifier).
• Authentication information: Authentication tokens / session credentials used to keep you signed in and authorize API requests.
• Financial and payment information (paper trading): Simulated trades, positions, balances, and PnL (profit/loss) that you create in the PaperFun system. (PaperFun does not execute real on-chain transactions on your behalf.)
• Website content (supported pages only): The extension reads limited on-page information necessary to operate the panel on supported trading pages, such as token identifiers (e.g., from the URL) and displayed market values (e.g., MC/market cap) used to calculate paper trades.
• Local settings: Extension/UI preferences (for example: panel on/off, panel position, and preset buy/sell buttons). These are stored locally in your browser.

We do not intentionally collect health data, precise location data, or personal communications content.

3) How we use data

• Provide the PaperFun paper-trading panel and dashboard features.
• Authenticate you and secure access to your PaperFun account.
• Sync, display, and compute paper-trading history, balances, and PnL.
• Prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and maintain service security.

4) Where data is stored

• On your device: The extension may store settings and authentication state locally (e.g., Chrome storage / local storage) so the product works across sessions.
• On our servers: Paper-trading data and account identifiers (wallet address) are stored on PaperFun servers so your dashboard can sync across devices.

5) Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share data only in limited cases, such as:

• With service providers that help us operate the website/API (for example hosting, databases, security providers), only as necessary to provide the service.
• If required to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or enforce our rights and prevent fraud/abuse.

6) Data retention

We retain paper-trading and account-related data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and maintain security. You can request deletion as described below.

7) Your choices & controls

• Disable the panel: You can turn the extension panel on/off at any time.
• Log out: Logging out removes/clears authentication state on your device (where supported by the extension/app).
• Request deletion: Email us at paperfun90@gmail.com to request deletion of server-stored PaperFun account and paper trading data. We may need to verify the request relates to the wallet/account.

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect data. However, no security method is perfect and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Children’s privacy

PaperFun is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
